MEET THE TEAM

Gonçalo Silva Lopes - Founder

Gonçalo is an experienced Creative Consultant, and script developer for film and advertising. A masters graduate in Human Resources Management, he discovered his passion for film working at the Instituto do Cinema e Audiovisual (Portuguese Film Institute), after which he gained a Masters degree from the Portuguese National Film School.

During his time in Lisbon Gonçalo engaged with numerous agencies for project roles ranging from Assistant Director to Script Researcher. He also wrote critical reviews for film and music. Residing in London since 2008, he has worked for a variety of production and advertising companies providing directors with support on content and bringing new possibilities to the mise en scène.

Alongside advertising work he has provided in depth script development for feature films.His profound knowledge and expertise of cinema and his flair for delivering fresh approaches to visual concepts (from camera placement, frame composition and blocking to lighting, editing and sound) has benefitted dozens of companies. His collaborators include Leila & Damien deBlinkk, HB Films (USA), Represent Film (Germany), Markenfilm (Germany), Blow Up Film (Italy), OneSix7 Productions (UK), Wanda (France/Germany, Partizan(UK), Blink Productions (UK), Colonel Blimp (UK), Lucky General(UK), The Apiary Collective (Australia),and Ready to Shoot (PT). His clients have included Amazon.com, French Connection, Rolex, Puma, Lipton, Boots, Samsung, BMW, Lindt, Otto.de, Volvo, Honda, Lacoste, Sony, GHD and Scottish Widows. He recently co-directed a series of advertisements with Director Jason Last for Italian Luxury brand KNEED.

His feature film research "End Game" - Working title - has included script development under the Svenka Film Institute – Sweden. He continues to work in the media world bringing his unique eye and collaborative creative engagement to all projects.

Gonçalo currently lives in Hampstead Heath - London with his wife and cockapoo - Saturday.
